Following the events of the birth of the Meta, this story chronicals the actions of Agent Carolina. This story attempts to fill the gap from Carolina's desire to impress the Director to wanting him to die. As this progresses a number of side-plots and discovers will lead Carolina on the path of vengeance.

He could easily hold his own against Carolina, And beat the record of lasting against Tex by surviving 10 Seconds before she kicked the shit out of him. So when he gets sent to Blood Gulch to report on the goings-on, what are the odds of it going to plan?

Agent Carolina has kept her distance since staying with the Blood Gulch Gang. She spends most of her time training, and rarely takes breaks. When Valentines Day rolls around, all she wants to do is stare out at the ocean. If only something could be done to make this day suck less.

The Freelancer Academy is a school for intelligent kids who suffered from bad choices or harsh circumstances.  And, as young David Washington finds out, has a lot of... quirks.

It wasn't a necessity- not initially. It was just one of those things you were told to do and you realized, midway through, that you were good at it. Really good at it. He had learned that just as much as one seeks after the proper one with a sharp tongue and a lethal mind, they lust after the backwater thug with the knowledge engraved by the nails of experience. But that was point Z of the story. Stealing was point A, and there were a lot of letters between A and Z. Or in this case, A and Y.

York knew that he should've walked away.

Wash just wants to drink his coffee after another nightmare. What he gets is a talk with the last person he'd ever expect to understand him.

Cry Havoc, and Release the Dogs of War.

They told him that it was over. That Epsilon was out of his head.
